Dr. Elizabeth J. Henry
Clinical Social Worker
Dr. Elizabeth J. Henry, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She earned her Bachelor of Social Work degree from Georgia State University in 1980, her Master’s in Clinical Social Work from Atlanta University in 1983, and her Doctorate degree in Social Work from Clark Atlanta University in 1993. Dr. Henry has over 30 years of experience in the area of Social Work. Prior to entering private practice in 1995, she held various positions in the field of behavioral health. Dr. Henry is an active member of the National Association of Social Workers, and has held her clinical license to practice in the state of Georgia since 1987.
Dr. Henry is married and is the mother of five children. She has a passion for helping others to overcome stressful challenges. Counseling services are available to assist children, adolescents, adults, and families. Issues may range from a child struggling in school, an adolescent rebelling against authority, or a family crisis. She provides family, couples, and individual counseling services.
Effective treatment is dependent upon having a through understanding of the problem; therefore, you the client will play an essential role in the assessment, planning, and implementation of treatment. We will strive to improve the situation in the shortest
time possible.
